The HPE JH231A QSFP+ module features a 12-fiber MTP/MPO male connector and supports a connection range of up to 150 meters over OM4 MMF (100 meters over OM3).
This transceiver complies with the IEEE 802.3 40GBASE-SR4 standard. It is fully interoperable with all standard 40GBASE-SR4 interfaces. Digital diagnostic functions are also available via the I2C interface,
in accordance with the QSFP+ MSA specification, for accessing real-time operational parameters. Due to its easy installation and hot-swappable design,
this transceiver is ideal for a wide range of applications, including campus networks, data centers, cloud deployments, high-performance computing environments,
and interconnections between switches, routers, servers, and transmission equipment.
