The Mellanox MMS1W50-HM QSFP56 transceiver is based on our 200G-QSFP56-2.1 product, which has the same parameters as similar products and is manufactured according to the same industry standards.
This module version is designed to operate through dual single-mode fiber (SMF) optical cables. Its minimum guaranteed optical budget is 4 dB,
which is usually sufficient to reach approximately 2 kilometers. However, the distance is only an indicative parameter for identifying comfort.
Finally, while calculating the distance, we also keep in mind the minimum (guaranteed) optical budget and average attenuation of optical wiring in the industry. The Mellanox MMS1W50-HM transceiver uses high-quality DFB laser emitters,
with working wavelengths of 1270 nm, 1290 nm, 1310 nm, 1330 nm, and 1270 nm, 1290 nm, 1310 nm, 1330 nm PIN photodiode receivers. This module supports DDM/DOM optical diagnostics,
and provides diagnostic data on the current operating conditions. This optical module has dual LC connectors, and the module is designed to operate in a standard temperature network environment of 0° - 70°C.
The transceiver chipset supports data rates of 212.5 Gbps (4 x 53.125 Gbps) and 200G Ethernet (212.5 Gbps) and other applications.
