Juniper MPC7E-MRATE

Mpc7e-mrate the PIC 0 and PIC 1 ports of the MPC support port speeds of 10Gbps and 40Gbps. However, there are only two PIC ports 2 and

5 supports the port speed of 100Gbps. Because mpC7e-MRATE MPC is rate optional

Fixed configuration MPC with 10-Gbps, 40-Gbps and 100-Gbps port speeds

MX240, MX480 and MX960 routers have line speed throughput up to 480 Gbps.

The on-line speed throughput of MX2000 router with SFB is up to 400 Gbps, and that of MX2000 router with SFB2 is up to 430 Gbps.

The Junos Trio chipset improves bandwidth, user and service scalability

Twelve Gigabit Ethernet ports can be configured as 40 Gigabit Ethernet ports or four 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports using branch cables. These ports support four-channel small pluggable enhanced (QSFP+) transceivers. The 40Gbps or 100Gbps ports configured to run at 10Gbps are displayed on the CLI as follows:

Four of the twelve ports can be configured as 100-Gigabit Ethernet ports. Port numbers 0/2, 0/5, 1/2, and 1/5 are four 100-Gigabit Ethernet ports.

You can configure different port speed combinations, as long as the total capacity of each group of six ports labeled 0/0 through 0/5 does not exceed 240 Gbps. Similarly, the total capacity of each group of the other six ports marked 1/0 through 1/5 should not exceed 240 Gbps.

Large capacity power supply, large capacity fan bracket and SCBE2 or SCBE3 switch control board are required on MX240, MX480 and MX960 routers.

The adapter card must be installed on the MX2000 router
