This is a 40 Gigabit Ethernet optical module in QSFP+ form factor produced by Juniper Networks.
1. JNP-QSFP-4X10GE-LR: JNP: Juniper Networks product prefix. QSFP: Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable, a four-channel small form-factor pluggable package.
4X10GE: Clearly indicates its working mode - it splits a 40G channel into four independent 10G channels. This is the core feature of this module.

This is the most common application scenario. High-speed interconnection is required between spine (core) switches and leaf (access) switches.
Scenario: A leaf switch has a QSFP+ 40G port, and the spine switch also has a QSFP+ 40G port.
Usage: Insert a JNP-QSFP-4X10GE-LR module into each QSFP+ port of the two devices,
and then directly connect them with a single-mode MPO-to-MPO fiber optic patch cord to establish a 40G high-speed uplink with a transmission distance of up to 10 kilometers.
