The Ciena 180-3530-900 QSFP-DD DCO transceiver achieves EDFA through single-mode fiber (SMF) via LC/UPC connectors, with a maximum distance of up to 120 km and a throughput of 400GBASE-ZR.
This module complies with the OIF MSA standard and achieves multi-vendor interoperability, supporting interoperability with other compliant components and rapid deployment. It can operate within a temperature range of 0 to 70°C.
It also supports digital optical monitoring (DOM), allowing access to real-time parameters. Using C-FEC and 16QAM modulation, this module supports 400G tunable DWDM transmission per wavelength.
The unamplified coverage distance can reach up to 40 km, and the amplified coverage distance can reach up to 120 km. It is intended for use in access, edge,
core and data center applications, supporting an open and interoperable network ecosystem.
